Middlebury Studio School

Join us as we kick off our Pizza & Pottery season with an evening of wood-fired pizza, clay, and community! Enjoy pizza from our outdoor oven, followed by a wheel throwing demonstration with Ethan Quillen.

Watch as Ethan guides us through the wheel-throwing process, from centering clay to shaping a form. He’ll demonstrate techniques for creating a large vessel on the wheel, then explore surface decoration methods that enhance the piece and create movement for the glaze to flow across the finished pot.

Whether you’re an experienced potter looking for inspiration or simply curious about the ceramic process, this event is a fun and welcoming opportunity to gather, learn, and connect through clay. Adults, Ages 21/BYOB
