There's just something intriguing about indigo! Join us for an immersive Fiber Arts workshop, with a focus on exploring the rich, deep colors of Indigo. In this hands-on workshop, participants will be guided through the complete process of Indigo dyeing—from preparing the dye to creating beautifully patterned textiles. Begin by creating a natural Indigo dye bath using Indigo crystals, a pre-reduced form, which allows for a faster preparation time. Next, explore Shibori, a traditional Japanese resist dyeing method to create stunning patterns on a variety of textiles. Experiment with a variety of techniques using natural fabrics, such as cotton and silk to discover how each material holds the dye in its own beautiful way. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a vibrant collection of custom dyed pieces! Materials included, Adults & Teens 16+/All levels*
