Middlebury Studio School

This online class is designed to strengthen your ability to express emotion
through drawing and painting. With an emphasis on landscape, Laura will
introduce basic painting techniques in a laid back and easy to follow
setting. Each week we will complete a different landscape painting together
step by step, while also learning helpful color theory, compositional theory,
exercises in “seeing” and more. Students will have an opportunity to work with
Laura individually to uncover your inner artist and style. This is a class in
creative confidence, and students will learn new ways of drawing and painting
that resonate personally. Students are welcome to use the painting medium of
their choice. Acrylic paint is recommended. Suitable for beginning and
continuing students. Teens welcome! Class will be run over Zoom format.

Recommended Supplies List to have on hand for each session:
Paper or Canvas to paint on (one for each session)
Acrylic or watercolor paint, just red, yellow, blue and white.
Palette to mix paint on
A few brushes of different sizes
paper towels
cup of water

You will need to download ZOOM and pay ahead for these classes. Use the Corsizio registration program to pay with a credit card or pay by check (make sure to include your email address). Once you have registered, we will invite you by email to our online zoom class with the meeting number and password.
