Design Your own Garden with Landscape & Garden Designer, Judith Irven of Outdoor Spaces. In this 3 week workshop, you will create a personal design project for your own garden. Your design project can encompass anything you want—from developing a brand new spatial layout that complements your land, to creating a planting plan for an existing bed that needs a ‘make-over’. 

Learn about the elements of garden design and also how to take measurements of your own garden. By the end of the workshop you will have a ‘ready to implement‘ scale drawing for your garden that answers your specific needs.

The final class will be held on site at Judith's Garden in Goshen. Here, in addition to working on their own designs, students will have the opportunity to observe a variety of garden design ideas as well as specific plants that will thrive in Vermont gardens.

Judith Irven is a professional landscape designer and garden writer. She and her photographer husband live in Goshen, Vermont where they tend an extensive garden. She has over 20 years of experience with garden design.
