Coptic Stitch Bookbinding

Learn how to sew this versatile exposed-stitch binding that opens flat and is ideal as a sketchbook or journal. We will make a single-needle coptic stitch journal using decorative paper for the cover (feel free to bring your own hand decorated paste paper or another paper you like – this is optional). Students will receive instruction sheet(s) and a resource list. All materials for the workshop will be provided.
